Gala Goddess is dedicated to producing affordable, inspiring and fun events in areas of life which matter most to our customers. We intend for each customer to leave our events feeling happy that she came, pleased with the topic(s) presented, and renewed in her personal confidence, as well as her enthusiasm and passion for her own life. We intend to empower those we serve to live created and purposeful lives. We aspire to align our will with God's will and to work from a spiritual foundation, with prayer and faith as ever-present forces in our organization. We will strive to grow our company and produce events all over the United States and abroad, creating prosperous opportunities for our employees as we go.
About Me...
Oddly enough, my background is in accounting - I've worked in small business accounting for 10 years. I have a degree in accounting. It has allowed me to work part time so I can spend more time with my 3-year old little girl; however, as someone who loves interacting with people, accounting is not a good fit for who I am. I recently read Dan Miller's book 48 Days to the Work You Love, and since then I have been searching for something beyond my 10-key calculator and ledger paper. Gala Goddess was born out of my dream of being fulfilled in my life. It's a dream that I imagine many women have: To do something for a living that allows me to raise my children, take care of my home and marriage, and create something that truly makes a difference for people.
I am so excited about the possibilities for this company. I am bubbling over with ideas for events and workshops (keep an eye out for the 48 Days workshop coming in November). I wake up in the morning with enthusiasm for this new adventure God has brought into my life. And here's the real kicker: I am enjoying doing the work! Imagine that. I have so much to be grateful for, not the least of which is to you for visiting my site and considering attending a Gala Goddess event.
